If you think you may be pregnant, we can provide you with an accurate pregnancy test to determine if you are. You should not wait to find out and the most accurate way is to get tested at a medical clinic or lab. What kind of pregnancy tests are there? There are two kinds of tests- blood and urine. The urine test is taken at least a week after the first missed period of a woman’s menstrual cycle. A blood test is can be done as early as six to eight days after a woman’s missed menstrual cycle. Blood is drawn and sent off to a lab where it is tested. Blood tests can determine pregnancy earlier than a urine test; however, the results take longer. How does a pregnancy test work? A pregnancy test detects a hormone known as human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This hormone is present (about six to eight days) after a fertilized egg attaches to the wall of a woman’s uterus. If you are pregnancy, the levels of hCG hormone rapidly increase every few days. Is it possible to have a false pregnancy? Though it is very uncommon to have a false pregnancy, it does happen. Most of the time, false positive results come from improper testing, especially while using at-home testing. Certain medications can interfere with pregnancy tests. Sometimes urine can be contaminated with blood or large amounts of protein, which can also lead to inaccuracies in test results. *If your pregnancy test results are positive, you should seek medical attention to confirm the accuracy of the results and for medical care.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointments and convenience are of high importance to us. We realize that at times unexpected circumstances may require schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel an appointment, we respectfully require that you provide at least 24hr notice. Our Policy: A cancellation or request to reschedule made less than 24hrs in advance will invoke a cancellation fee. The amount charged will be equal to 25% of the booked services or $20, whichever is more. Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will provide the service. If we cannot accommodate you, the same cancellation fee will be charged. We will try our best to reschedule your appointment for another time that suits you. A credit card is required to make an appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to the card you provide. In case of a true, unforeseen, and unavoidable emergency, a cancellation fee will not be charged , but the full amount of it may be applied for your future appointment cost. We realize that emergencies occur. If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we simply request that you inform us at least 24 hours in advance. If the booking was made for the same day, we require at least four hours’ notice. Cancellations that do not meet the above requirements will result in a 25% fee charged to the credit card on file or added to your next booking.
